If there’s one side dish that manages to feel cozy, seasonal, and just a little bit fancy without any fuss, it’s these Fig Dijon Glazed Brussels Sprouts. They’re the kind of recipe that turns an ordinary weeknight dinner into something special—and honestly, I’ve been completely obsessed with this flavor combo lately. The sweetness of fig jam, the tang of whole grain mustard, and the subtle depth of balsamic come together in a glaze that clings beautifully to those caramelized sprouts. It’s simple, bold, and ridiculously delicious.
I love that this dish gives major “holiday energy” without needing a holiday at all. Think crispy edges, savory bits of turkey bacon, and that glossy fig-Dijon finish that makes everything taste like it came straight off a festive table spread. And the best part? It’s incredibly quick. The air fryer works its magic to get the Brussels sprouts browned and the bacon perfectly crisp, all while you whisk together a glaze that feels way fancier than the effort it requires.
Fig Dijon Glazed Brussels Sprouts also make an amazing Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving side if you want something a little different from the usual lineup. They bring brightness and sweetness to the plate, pair beautifully with turkey or chicken, and always disappear faster than I expect. If you want to take things up a notch, a sprinkle of cranberries or pomegranate seeds on top adds the perfect pop of color and an extra hit of tartness to balance the glaze.

Making Fig Dijon Glazed Brussels Sprouts
Start with fresh Brussels sprouts which are cleaned, trimmed, and sliced in half so they brown nicely. The turkey bacon cooks right alongside them in the air fryer, adding smoky, salty flavor with almost no extra effort. A little oil and a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and garlic powder are all you need before they go into the basket.
While they crisp up, whisk together fig jam, whole grain mustard, and a splash of balsamic vinegar. It’s a three-ingredient glaze that tastes like you spent way more time on it than you did. As soon as the Brussels sprouts come out of the air fryer, toss them immediately in the warm glaze so every piece gets shiny and coated. If you’re feeling festive, finish with pomegranate seeds or dried cranberries for a gorgeous sweet-tart garnish.
Serve them hot, serve them with everything, and don’t be surprised when they steal the show.
