Okay, I have to say—these air fryer biscuit donuts might be one of the easiest, most fun treats I’ve made in a while. You start with a can of biscuit dough (yes, really), add a few juicy raspberries, and finish with a bright, tangy lemon glaze that takes everything over the top. They come out golden, fluffy, and slightly crisp on the outside—all without turning on the oven or dealing with a pot of hot oil.
These are perfect for a lazy weekend morning, a quick dessert, or a sweet little snack that looks way fancier than it actually is. And because they’re made in the air fryer, cleanup is a breeze. Win-win.
Why you’ll love these Air Fryer Biscuit Donuts
Ridiculously easy – We’re talking minimal ingredients and no deep frying.
Perfect balance of sweet + tart – That raspberry + lemon combo is chef’s kiss.
Fun to make with kids (or for yourself!) – Let them help press in the berries or dunk the glaze.
Customizable – Swap the glaze flavor, skip the fruit, or coat them in cinnamon sugar instead. Endless possibilities.
Making Air Fryer Biscuit Donuts
Prep your biscuit dough:
Pop open the biscuit can (my least favorite part, let’s be honest 😂) and separate the rounds. Cut out the centers to create a donut shape—I use a small round cookie cutter or the cap from a water bottle. Pro tip: Save those little centers! I toss them in butter, cinnamon, and sugar and air fry them too for mini donut holes.
Add the raspberries:
Press small pieces of fresh raspberries into the tops of each biscuit donut. You want to “stud” the dough with little bursts of fruit—so good when they bake into the dough. Sprinkle a little cane sugar on top for that bakery-style finish, and give everything a light spray with canola oil.
Air fry to perfection:
Place the donuts in your air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes, until they’re golden and puffed. (I used my an oven-style air fryer, but any air fryer should do the trick!)
Cool and glaze:
Let the donuts cool on a wire rack while you mix up your lemon glaze: powdered sugar + lemon juice + zest + melted butter. Stir until smooth and glossy.
Dip & enjoy:
Once the donuts are cool enough to handle, dip them in the lemon glaze. I like to double dip for that thick, bakery-style coating. Let the glaze set (or don’t—no judgment), and dig in!
