Instructions
Grab a large black or dark-colored serving platter or board.
Transfer the vanilla frosting into a piping bag or a zip-top plastic bag with one corner snipped off.
Starting at the upper-middle of the plate (leaving room at the top for pretzels), pipe a round circle blob of frosting for your first ghost.
Take a spreader knife, place it in the middle of the frosting blob, and spread it downward in a gentle stroke to create the tapered ghost body.
Repeat piping and spreading ghosts in staggered rows, working from the back toward the front of the plate so the tails naturally layer over one another.
Press two mini chocolate chips into the top of each ghost to create the eyes. Press a regular chocolate chip or mini chocolate chip beneath the eyes to create an open, spooky mouth.
Pile the Halloween pretzels onto the empty top section of the platter behind the ghosts.
Tuck candy pumpkins around the outer edges of the ghosts for a festive pop of color.
Serve immediately with extra pretzels on the side for dipping!
