These Healthy Pizza Pinwheels are the perfect game day snack and are great for a crowd. They're better-for-you, easy to make, and absolutely delicious!
1cupturkey pepperonichopped or whole, roughly 22 of them
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F.
In a large bowl, ideally using a stand mixer + dough hook, combine all dough ingredients until you have a smooth dough ball.
Flour a surface well and roll dough out to large rectangle, roughly 12x16. In a small mixing bowl, combine shredded cheese and pizza sauce and mix together.
Leaving the long edge thats further from you about 1 inch uncovered (see photo above), spread mixture all over dough. Sprinkle with parmesan and chopped basil, top with pepperoni.
Starting at the long edge closer to you, carefully roll the dough up to create a roll, leaving the seam side down. Cut into 12 even pinwheels.
Spray an 8x8 square baking dish well with cooking spray and arrange pinwheels in it. Spray tops with cooking spray and bake at 375F for 25-30 minutes. Let cool slightly, sprinkle with extra parmesan and basil, and enjoy!
