Air Fryer Funnel Cake

Jacklin Altman
This air fried funnel cake will transport you right to a county fair, but without the janky rides and added grease. These are just 2 WW SP each on all plans.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowls
  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt nonfat
  • 1/4 cup milk any milk works
  • 1 large whole egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • cooking spray
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Prepare air fryer tray/basket by spraying well, using a parchment paper liner if available. Set aside.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine greek yogurt, milk, egg, vanilla and stir to combine fully.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until you have a uniform batter. It should be thicker than a pancake batter and able to be piped and keep its shape. If too runny, add more flour 1 tbsp at a time.
  • Pour batter into a piping bag or a plastic sandwich bag with the tip cut off and pipe 12 funnel cakes. You can do any shape you want (I opted for swirls).
  • Spray tops of funnel cakes well with cooking spray and air fry at 370F for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Dust with powdered sugar and any additional toppings and enjoy!
