key lime pie bars

As soon as warm weather hits, I am game for all things citrus. One of my favorite being Key Lime Pie – yum! A while back, I perfected my Key Lime Pie recipe (find it here), and this time, I decided to kick things up a notch. I made my own graham cracker base, which is the perfect complement to these tart and tangy bars. Don’t worry, no mouth-puckering sour here, these bars are a sweet treat!

Key Lime Pie Bars

Jacklin Altman
Summer has unofficially begun which means it’s time for alllll the citrus desserts! Key Lime Pie is one of my favorite desserts ever – it’s perfectly tart, bright, and sweet. These key lime pie bars are super easy to whip up and make for the perfect summer dessert! This key lime pie filling also works great in a pie, so you can press the crust/pour the filling into a standard pie pan, or buy a pre-made pie crust and fill it for a dreamy key lime pie!
